. Message of the Day .
The society we live in is dynamic in nature. It changes and changes continuously. Customs, traditions, folkways, mores, values and institutions undergo changes by and by. The change is from traditional to modern nature but the change is spontaneous and slow, so slow that we are unable to realize it. Reason for the slow change may be contributed to the inherited culture. Habits, display of the culture, die hard and so is the society. Do involve yourself in social activities to bring the desired changes without expecting instant results. Fruits of the mango tree sown by you will be enjoyed by your grandchildren.
. History of Mankind-2 .
There have been various theories related to the birth of mankind on this planet. Mostly first and accepted one is the creation by the Almighty. According to this theory, all the different forms of life that occur today on planet earth have been created by God, the almighty. Adam and Eve were, according to the Book of Genesis, Bible and Quran the first man and woman created by the God. Life on earth began from them according to Christians, Muslims and Jews. These three religions have a common agreement on the fact God created the universe in seven days, reserving for his sixth-day labor the climax of creation: man and woman. On the seventh day God rests and so establishes the holiness of the Sabbath. God fashioned a man from the dust and blows the breath of life into his nostrils, then planted a garden (the Garden of Eden) and caused to grow in the middle of the garden the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life. God set the man in the garden “to work it and watch over it,” permitting him to eat from all the trees in the garden except the Tree of Knowledge, “for on the day you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Rani Lakshmibai
The queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmibai, who died fighting the British during the 1857 revolt and became a supreme symbol of Indian nationalism, was born on November 19, 1828, in Varanasi (in present day Uttar Pradesh) in a Maharashtrian Brahmin family.
She was named Manikarnika (or Manu, informally). Her mother, Bhagirathi Sapre, died when she was four years old. Her father, Moropant Tambe, was employed with a Peshwa in Bithoor district. Lakshmibai reportedly learned how to ride a horse and archery as a child.
In 1842, Manikarnika was married to Raja Gangadhar Rao, the Maratha ruler of Jhansi, a princely state in Bundelkhand. In 1851, she gave birth to a boy but he died when he was four months old. Before he himself passed away, Gangadhar adopted his cousin son’s and renamed the child Damodar Rao, after his dead son. The raja also gave a letter to a British officer, appealing that Damodar be treated well and that the administration of Jhansi be given to Lakshmibai after Gangadhar died. But following his death in 1853, the British, citing the ‘Doctrine of Lapse’, rejected Damodar’s right to the throne and annexed Jhansi. Lakshmibai was given a pension and told to leave the palace and fort.
The Rani of Jhansi rose to prominence during India’s first war of independence in 1857. The rebellion started as a sepoy mutiny on May 10, 1857, in Meerut, and then spread to other parts of northern and central India. The revolt was a culmination of several grievances but the spark was provided when Hindu and Muslim soldiers were asked to bite off their rifle cartridges that were reportedly greased with beef and pork fat.
In a book on Lakshmibai titled The Rani of Jhansi, Rebel against Will, the author Rainer Jerosch puts her role into context: “The entire life of the Rani is intimately linked to the causes and the events of this (the 1857) revolt. However, it should be noted that she only emerges as a leading actor on the historical stage in the latter phase of the insurrection. It moreover appears reasonable to assume that it was only over the course of the Mutiny that she developed into the personality which we encounter in the history books. The ‘highly civilized, polite lady’, as the well-schooled eyes of Political Agent Sir Robert Hamilton, perceived her before the Great Mutiny, provides little, if any, indication of the resolute warrior who would one day challenge British rule with such determination and military prowess.”
With news of the mutiny reaching Jhansi, the Rani sought British permission to gather a force of armed men for her protection. In a letter to Major Erskine, she expressed her deep regret at the killing of British civilians and officers by the mutineers. With forces of Orchha and Datia attempting to take advantage of the chaos and capture Jhansi, Lakshmibai appealed to the British for help. But it is believed that by then the thinking in the British camp was that the Rani was part of the rebel force.
The British finally arrived, with the aim of capturing Jhansi, and the assault on the fort began on March 24, 1858. A force of more than 20,000 men led by rebel leader Tatya Tope came to Jhansi’s aid, but could not do much. After fierce fighting, and with British forces closing in, the Rani decided to tactically withdraw and escape to open up another front against the enemy.
She joined rebel forces at Kalpi but they were forced to flee by the British. The Rani, Tatya Tope, Rao Sahib and others then camped at Gwalior. For a while they held the city, but the British attacked them on June 17.
A squadron of the 8th Hussars, near Gwalior’s Phool Bagh area, engaged with the rebel forces led by Lakshmibai. There is more than one version of the circumstances under which the Rani was fatally wounded. Governor General Lord Canning’s account is as follows: “Ranee of Jhansi. Killed by a trooper of the 8th Hussars who was never discovered. Shot in the back, her horse baulked. She then fired at the man, and he passed his sword through her. She used to dress like a man (with a turban) and rode like one ... Not pretty, & pockmarked with smallpox, but beautiful eyes and figure. She used to wear gold anklets…Her tent was very coquettish...Two maids of honour rode with her. One was killed…”
When she was killed, the Rani was only 29 years old. In her life and death, she was often caught in historical currents beyond her control but she responded with extraordinary courage. By dying young on the battlefield during the greatest revolt against British rule the country had ever witnessed, Lakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi, became immortal in the hearts and minds of her countrymen.

Distorted and damaged Sikh History
The Sikh History is so much by the Fanatic & Greedy Derawalas posing as Sikhs. Most of them do not know the difference between Respect OR Disrespect for the Guru Sahibs..With their ignorance of Real and Accurate knowledge of Sikh History and Gurbani, they had been disrespecting Sikh Guru Sahib in the name of 'respect' ! To add insult to injury The SGPC and DSGMC are just promoting these Derawalas who have become the enemies of the Khalsa Panth and are detrimental top the global progress and spread of Sikh Values so fondly given to us by our Guru Sahibs.
Beginning with the days of Guru Nanak Sahib all along the "AKKEE ONES" like Sri Chand Ji , Lakhmi Das Ji, Datu Ji Dasu Ji, Pirthi Chand, Ram Rai,Dheer Mal who played their part in distortions. There is the Bala Sahies that are against the teachings of Guru Sahib. Manjees, Pirrdas and Seva Panties were discontinued by the Guru Sahib himself. Then came the Masands (Masnads) who had to be shunted out by Guru Sahib. Udasies, and Nirmalas played a big role to soil the Sikh History for their personal benefits. The Corrupt Mahants took over the Gurdwaras with patronage of by the rulers. Sikhs had to live in jungles to face and fight against brutalities by the EVIL rulers. During that time the The Nirmlas & Mahants occupied many Gurdwaras including Darbar Sahib Amritsar .They even denied entry to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib in the Darbar Sahib. These Narmlas were responsible for installing the statues of Hindu gods & goddesses in the Parkamia of Darbar Sahib that had to be removed by the volunteers of Singh Sabha movement. Even today one can observe the remnants of fake rituals performed at Darbar Sahib, against the Gurbani teachings. These Nirmalas CONCOCTED fake stories that Guru Tegh Bhadur Sahib spent more than 26 years sitting in "BHORA at Bakala Village Secondly they claim that Guru Gobind Singh Sahib sent them to Benaras (Kashi) to learn Sanskrit etc. These are total LIES.
A ) One read Sabds in Guru Granth Sahib Ji written by Guru Sahib from Mahla Pehla to Mahala Panjwa that use Sanskrit, Farsi and other languages when Punjabi in Gurmukhi script is the medium used in Gurbani. All Sikh Guru Sahibs from Guru Nanak Sahib to Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji were well versed in many languages including Sanskrit, therefore there could not have been any need for sending any one to Banaras by Guru Sahib, as claimed by Nirmalas. Furthermore, Guru Sahib Himself passed on the Guruship to Sri Guru Granth Sahib JI and were aware of the Sabd of Guru Amardas Sahib Ji in Sri Guru Granth Sahib on Ang:491- line 13 M 3:"Na Kasee Mat Upjai Na Kasee Mat Jaaie II SatGur Mileeai Mat Upjai Ta Eh Sojhee Paaie II...." ( Spiritual Knowledge (Gnosis) is neither gained at Banaras nor is lost at Banaras. Wisdom comes by meeting the True Guru and then only one obtains understanding .... to abide the Sabd in one's mind to understand and obtain "Sehj State"- Equipoise, the doubts shall be erased.).Kabir Ji was a resident of Banaras has 11 Sabds on "Kasi" out of a total of 18 Sabds mentioned in SGGS Ji that did not give any importance to Banaras and instead described the place populated by "THUGS - Cheats" (Ref: 326-10-10 ;335-10; 482-14;970-8; 692-6;692-8;857-11;857-11;969-13,14; are some pages that were contributed by Kabir on "Kasi". Furthermore, Guru Nanak Sahib,Guru Amardas Ji; Guru Ramdas Ji and Guru Arjun Sahib contributed Sabds on "Kasi" that describe the hypocrisy of the Pundit & Brahman practises . The Nirmalas learn there, how to distort and cheat ignorants with fake Rituals that were later introduced in Pure Sikh Faith to adulterate and mislead for personal greed. Reading all the Sabds on Kasi,True Sikhs must not believe in the trap of Nirmalas and their associated fake rituals and distortions of Sikh History.
B ) Now a days another controversy has been created by a few fanatic Dearawals who are being helped by SGPC jathedars to further fuel the fires unnecessarily. Those Sikhs who recite and ponder upon Gurbani knows that The word "Bhora occurs only five times and it is used in the sense of "Crumb,a little bit, tiny, insignificant etc" and is not used in the sense of Basement Cell. Other similar words such as Bhor,Bhoree,Bhorai etc used 22 times has very different meanings. The word " GUFFA" n.f. indicating Cave,or den is used 17 times, and it meant " Mind - or Brain of a person that can be a cave of Divine knowledge. All those Sabds were studied carefully by me and it does not refer to Caves in mountains or Basement dens. I will quote just one line here at Ang 139-10 Mahla 1 : "Soinai kai Parbat Guffa Karee Kai Panni Pieaal. Kai Vich Dhartee Kai Akasee Uradh Raha Sir Bhair....). You can read the whole Sabd in Gurbani but the translation in brief is ( I may make cave in the mountain of gold or the waters of nether-world. I may remain standing on my head upside down either in the earth or on the sky.I may fully cover my body by clothes and wash them daily. I may shout aloud the white, red, yellow or black Vedas - referring to Sham,Rig,yauar, and Atharvan Bedas. I may live dirty and filthy, But all this is Evil Intellect and Pernicious mentality. Nanak, I reflect upon the Name of The Eternal Lord, without which neither I was, nor I am, and nor I shall be worth anything.

Sant Jarnail Singh
The most determined, charismatic, the 20th century’s great General, the heart of the Sikh youth, charismatic personality, Sant Jarnail Singh Jee Khalsa Bhindranwale was born on February 12th 1947 at village Rode, Dist Faridkot to Baba Joginder Singh and Mata Nihal Kaur Jee.Early life
Sant Jarnail Singh Jee took Amrit at the tender age of five; from this very young age, being committed to his nitnem (daily prayers), became his lifelong aim. Until the age of 11, he remained in village Rode and would recite 110 Jap Jee Sahibs and the Panj Granthi, daily; all whilst undertaking his farming duties. He remained at his village and was engrossed in meditation for 11 years. He had little formal education, but his memory was astonishing; Sant Jee managed to recite and remember so many bani’s, including, Dakhani Oankar in 1 day, Sukhmani Sahib in 13 days, Sidh Gost in 1 day and Asa Di Vaar in 8 hours.
Damdami Taksal
Every year Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee Khalsa Bhindranwale would tour the villages of Punjab delivering sermons on Gurmat. When Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee arrived at village Rode he asked Baba Joginder Singh Jee for one of his seven sons, Baba Joginder Singh Jee told Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee that they had free will to choose whichever son they wanted; they chose a young boy, Jarnail Singh.
Sant Jarnail Singh Jee was educated in the knowledge of God, by Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee Khalsa. Within a year they learnt the correct pronunciations of Gurbani and the history of the Guru’s. In 1966, Sant Jee was married at Village Bilaspur with Sardar Sucha Singh’s daughter, Bibi Pritam Kaur. He has two sons, Ishar Singh and Inderjeet Singh, born in 1971 and 1975 respectively.
After Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee Khalsa ascended to Sachkand, Sant Kartar Singh Jee, Bhindranwale, was appointed the Jathedar of Damdami Taksal. Sant Kartar Singh Jee, Sant Jarnail Singh Jee and Sant Baba Thakur Singh Jee were very close and would discuss issues of the Panth together.
In 1977 Sant Kartar Singh Jee was involved with a serious car accident which resulted in them being admitted into hospital. Sant Kartar Singh Jee was advised to undergo an operation, which involved removing their Kes, Sant Kartar Singh Jee refused this operation, opting to keep their Kes and their Sikhi intact. Sant Jee told Baba Thakur Singh Jee to appoint the next Jathedar.
Baba Thakur Singh tied the Dastar of Jathedari on Sant Jarnail Singh Jee, after which Takhat Sri Patna Sahib Jathedar, Bhai Mohan Singh Jee presented Sant Jee a Siropa on behalf of the Takhat Sahib.
Rise to popularity
In Punjab, Sant Jarnail Singh Jee Khalsa Bhindranwale followed the footsteps of the previous 12 Jathedars of Damdami Taksal and travelled from village to village preaching Sikhism. He asked Sikhs to live according to the rules and tenets of Sikhism. He would give speeches to encourage numerous youths to take Amrit and keep Rehat. For eight months, Sant Jee’s parchaar was continuous, touring villages and cities, including U.P, Bombay, Calcutta and other areas. In 1978 Sant Jee was about to embark on their second tour of parchar, when the Nirankaris had announced a large gathering in Amritsar, in which the leader and his wife would actively defame the Sikh Guru’s. With consultation with the Akhand Kirtani Jatha, Sant Jee sent representatives of Damdami Taksal to peacefully protest against the Nirankaris, but the Nirankaris replied with gun fire and 13 Singhs were martyred with many more injured.
On 24th April 1980 the Nirankari leader, Gurbachan, was assassinated, Sant Jarnail Singh Jee was made the prime suspect. On 9 Sept 1981, Lala Jagat Narain was assassinated and a warrant for arrest was issued for Sant Jarnail Singh Jee. Sant Jee voluntarily courted arrest on 20th September 1981. For 25 days he was questioned on many issues whilst in custody, but no evidence was produced against Sant Jee and he was released without charge.
Dharam Yudh Morcha
On 26 April 1982, a Morcha (campaign) was started to get Amritsar ‘holy city’ status. Some Singhs of the Jatha and Bhai Amrik Singh Jee, of the All India Sikh Student Federation, (AISSF), were arrested. Sant Jee began the Dharam Yudh Morcha on 19 July 1982 to secure the release of the innocent Singh’s.
The Shromani Akali Dal also adopted the Dharam Yudh Morcha philosophy and declared that the Morcha would continue until all demands of the Anandpur Sahib resolution were met. In the first three months of the Dharam Yudh Morcha 40,000 Singhs courted arrest. However, due to the press coverage and mass participation in the Dharam Yudh Morcha, the government began to criminalize and persecute the Sikh community through its propaganda and tools of state machinery. The government propagated the view that Sikhs wanted the whole of the India to be divided into many nations and that Sikhs were enemies of Hindus. They propagated the view that the lives of Hindus in Punjab were under threat and that an exodus of Hindus from Punjab had begun. On the contrary Sant Jarnail Singh Jee never promoted violence towards anyone of any religion, gender, caste or creed. He insisted that every Hindu should be a true Hindu, every Muslim should be a true Muslim and likewise every Sikh, should be a true Sikh.
Operation Bluestar
In March 1983, Sant Jee learnt of the Governments plans to wipe out the Sikhs and the possibility of an attack on Sri Harimandar Sahib. In June 1984, this became a reality when Indira Gandhi gave the approval for the Indian army to storm the Golden Temple complex and another 37 Gurdwaras. It was widely reported by Lt. Gen. Kuldip Brar and other army officials that Sant Jee did not survive the attack was killed. The reliability of the army’s claims of Sant Jee being martyred in the attack are contradicted by other officials, R.K. Bajaj, a correspondent for Surya magazine, claimed to have seen a photograph of Sant Jee in custody, while a Governmental doctor claimed that Sant Jee was alive when captured.
The inconsistency of reports released by the Police, Government and Army officials is still shady to this day and although they all claim Sant Jee to have been killed they never released pictures, videos or statements regarding the capture, torture or funeral of Sant Jarnail Singh Jee Khalsa Bhindranwale.
It must be noted that before residing at Guru Nanak Niwas in the Darbar Sahib Complex, Sant Jarnail Singh Jee stated that should anything happen during his time there, everyone should follow the bachan given by Sant Baba Thakur Singh and that whatever Baba Jee says is true. For 20 years Baba Thakur Singh maintained that Sant Jarnail Singh Jee was not Shaheed and was infact in Charrdeekalaa (high spirits) and would return one day to re-launch the Dharam Yudh Morcha.
